Dinny Hall

Dinny Hall founded her celebrated, eponymous range back in 1985 when barely out of Central St Martin’s School of Art - the alma mater of some of the most talented designers of our age. Her ascent was fast, beginning with some stunning catwalk designs which quickly caught the attention of the press. It wasn’t long before her jewellery could be seen in New York City, Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo and in 1989 she received the British Council award for ‘Accessory Designer of the Year’.

The distinctiveness of Dinny Hall’s talent lies in an effortless classic modernity which has kept her at the top of her field for twenty-five years. Like anything truly classic, hers is a design aesthetic that appeals across transient fashions and across gender and age by dint of a delicately sensual line of beauty. The leather, acrylics and exotic woods of her earlier career may have been replaced by silver, gold, beautiful diamonds, sapphires, tourmaline or even unusual almandine, but the Dinny Hall stamp is unique and instantly recognisable.
This might explain why Dinny Hall’s clientele and fan-base is one established largely by word of mouth and includes a broad spectrum of talents and personalities – from Annie Lennox, Lily Allen, Alexa Chung and Sienna Miller to Samantha Cameron, Sarah Brown, Dawn French, Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes. Simply loved by all…
