Since opening the Lisson Gallery in London in 1967, Nicholas Logsdail has worked closely with hundreds of artists to produce contemporary art shows in Britain.
The nephew of author Roald Dahl, he is seen by many in the industry as a pioneer of conceptual art, championing the works of Anish Kapoor, Julian Opie and Ai Weiwei. He opened another branch of his gallery in Milan. At 24, he sold an entire Donald Judd show to a British collector.
