Welcome to your application. You might want to make a brew before you start on this, as it will take some time to complete, but we promise it will be worth it.
If you have difficulties completing a written application please contact us to discuss alternative accepted formats.
Remember to be considered for a place on School for Creative Startups you need to have a researched business idea or an active creative startup.
Applications with be judged based on the following criteria:
- The quality, uniqueness and innovation of the creative product or service
- The likelihood for business success
- The need for the support we offer
- Proof of your dedication to the success of the startup and to the course
- The combined quality of the application and interview
Tips for Completing an Application
- Images say more than words. If you have images or a logo for your work, please include them, as they will help make your application memorable (but don’t worry if you don’t have any).
- We know nothing about your business so it’s best to be as clear and all-inclusive as possible because your answers are all we have to go on. It’s a good idea to try out your answers on someone who knows nothing about your business.
- It’s a long application because we are trying to learn as much about you as possible. Take this opportunity to paint a picture of yourself, your business and your achievements. Personality is encouraged.
- Once you start an application you must complete it. The form will not save an incomplete application.

- There are hints and tips along the way to help with answers, but the best advice we can give you is to be clear and concise with your answers.
- Some answer fields have word limitations to help you stay succinct.
- Once you complete the application you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your completed application.
- If you are applying with partner(s)/ co-founder(s), they will need to complete the following application
Just a final reminder, those not fully committed to seeing the course through and doing all the work needed to succeed need not apply.
