A Day at the Races - Millinery Workshop

A chance to try your hand at the fascinating and intricate art of millinery, or hat making. In this session you will design and create your own unique headpiece on a hairband, which would make the perfect accessory for a summer wedding or race day. With a collection of exotic feathers, veiling, beads and ribbon, millinery designer Rachel Drewer will provide inspiration and step-by-step guidance to help you on your journey to discover the world of millinery. You will learn how to construct a simple headpiece using hand stitching techniques you can recreate at home. No previous craft or sewing experience necessary.
