Crocus Projects is an advocacy service to offer a real voice in building design to those with a learning disability - right from the very start. For each project, we engage with our stakeholder groups - to promote a strong, and personal, sense of involvement, identity and ownership. We document with video clips - individuals articulating the qualities they’re looking for - and that’s placed at the core of the building brief. So - later - the professional Design Team demonstrates how their proposal delivers the qualities the stakeholders have defined - right to the project finish. We are John + Clare Carlile - and we work with a wide network of specialists throughout England to ensure that our work fits the project. We’ve run a large Camphill household where our family has grown up alongside 6 of our beneficiaries over 25 years - when we’ve worked at the centre of our local Camphill community and our organization nationally - http://www.cvt.org.uk Now it’s time to form Crocus Projects as a social enterprise. John is an Architect and RIBA Client Adviser - Clare is an exhibiting artist.
