The beauty and potential of derelict urban space, deer and other native wildlife, forgotten communities, butterfly houses & beehives, artist-run allotments, blackboards, Italian street parties with long tables outdoors, people-power, wind-power, the space between two buildings, woodland (especially those living in it), cardboard, all things handmade, catering vans, and of course - Disco!
Involuntary Park is an artist partnership offering sustainable urban regeneration and cultural place-making services through the development and delivery of unique art projects in the public realm.
Working directly with commissioning bodies, from education providers and local councils to public organisations, developers, urban planners and businesses, we provide creative consultancy on multi-scale public realm projects.
We take projects from consultation to concept, design through to production and implementation, and our innovative creative strategies maximise community participation.
The Involuntary Park approach positively engages and inspires, delivering public art that is finely tuned in to current social, financial and ecological realities.
