Our business idea
Artists’ books, bookbinding and letterpress printing.
I want to share my passion with as many people as possible, to spread the word about book arts, encourage others to learn craft skills that are under-exposed, and to foster a greater understanding of book arts in the UK.
To open the UK’s first book arts centre, offering teaching and learning opportunities in book arts, binding and printmaking, making rare and expensive presses and equipment available to all.
The centre will provide open-access membership, studio space rental and support for recent graduates and emerging artists, workshops in book arts subjects, including book binding, artists’ books, letterpress printmaking, screen printing, and workshops for school and children’s groups.
