frillybylily was founded in May 2006 when I started selling at Portobello road market in West London. For 6 years I have been hand assembling one off items using reclaimed vintage bits and bobs. Customers have been able to buy themselves a one off piece for extremely affordable prices. As demand has grown, the focus has been shifted to outsourcing manufacturing, and creating a capacity to be able to complete larger orders. I have spent some time considering whether to manufacture abroad or at home. I have designed a new collection that is being manufactured in North London using solid recycled brass, silver and high grade gold plate. Being able to use these new materials is also enabling me to reach a new market. In the last 6 years frillybylily jewellery has been sold online, in many independent boutiques as well as Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie stores.
