Once upon a time, not that long ago, it was pop stars, famous actors and male models that would get my heart racing. Nowadays, myself and most of my girlfriends are far more likely to go weak kneed over a stunning lampshade or get giddy about some delicious wallpaper. Design is the new thing that makes us daydream and these are the objects of our lust. HUNK was born out of a wish to cater for these desires, to make girls swoon with gorgeous, colourful decorative items for the home. Just like the perfect dream man, HUNK is eye catching, wholesome (being all produced in the UK and using savaged furniture and other items) with a sense of humour and totally different from the rest.
The range will consist of bright, colourful, ‘primed up’ vintage furniture, lampshades and home decor made from vintage textiles. These will be stocked through the website shop, private commissions and London interior boutiques.
