Strange Fruit aims to be leading publisher of greeting cards, reflective of diversity in the UK. Calling my business Strange Fruit clearly sets out my commitment to inclusiveness and filling the gap in the market for cards fit for a modern society. I use vintage photographs to create new memories from old history and mini pieces of art. I want strange Fruit to stay small, distinctive and authentic but in the worldwide market place, Tatty Devine are my business crush. I currently sell to around 20 independent gift and card shops and won the opportunity to pitch to the buyers at House of Fraser and am happy to be stocking the Mary Portas shop. I have also secured a USA and Canada distributor I want to build on these successes and take Strange Fruit from a part time business to a full time one that employees a small team.
