Survival Arts is a start-up social enterprise - a business that will make quality products for children that generate enthusiasm and much-needed funding for the conservation of endangered species. The idea struck me like a runaway moose in the middle of the night one night: there is a huge natural affinity between children and animals which has yet to be harnessed for conservation. Kids sleep in pajamas covered in teddy bears instead of endangered sun bears, and poodle puppies instead of African painted dogs, though these wild cousins are much more beautiful. And furthermore, kids´ artwork of their own native species is far better than the clichéed work of some graphic designer in Staines. So we will produce organic, ethical kids´ apparel that is backed up with a lot of fun interactive educational material on our website. We hope to empower kids and build great brand loyalty in the process.
