Jessica Huie

Jessica Huie is an award-winning entrepreneur and founder of Color blind Cards and JH Public Relations. In recognition for her contribution to diversity and influence on her community, aged just 34 Jessica was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) being named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list (June 2014).

In 2008 Jessica founded JH Public Relations, a PR agency representing inspiring individuals, entrepreneurs and Startup businesses. Having spent over a decade working for two of London’s most high profile PR agencies Jessica learnt from the industry’s best.

Armed with enviable international relationships, and a passion for media, Jessica’s transition from employee to employer aged 28 saw her launch JHPR with a glittering clientele and focus. The roster has included Samuel Jackson’s Glittering Stars in Dessert Nights event, Kelly Rowland and former Dragon’s Den star Hilary Devey. Since 2012 the agency have focussed almost entirely on the representation of entrepreneurs and personalities, and in Jan 2015 partnered with talent management agency Kruger Cowne to handle PR for a roster which includes some of the world’s most iconic names (Sir Bob Geldof, Lily Cole, Elle Macpherson.)

Crediting entrepreneurialism with having changed her life, Jessica is passionate about entrepreneurship as a tool for social empowerment.

Jessica, who was winner of the Daily Mail’sEnterprising Young Brit award, was named one ofBritain’s Most inspiring entrepreneurs by the Evening Standard and was included on Red Magazine’s Hot women’ list, is mother to 16 year old Monet and 3 year Jensen. In 2013 Jessica won a National Diversity Award for Color blind Cards contribution to diversity and has been invited to No. 10 Downing street to advise on encouraging a more enterprising young Britain.
