I served in the US Army Medical Corps for 3 years after high school, then attended University where I earned a BA in Speech (Business and Professional Speaking) and a BS in Psychology. I then attended law school and earned my Juris Doctor. After nearly 10 years as a litigation attorney, I transitioned into business and served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the world’s largest provider of marketing and management services to the insurance industry.

Since that time, I have earned my living as a serial entrepreneur, business start-up consultant, professional speaker, writer and success coach. I’ve been instrumental in the launch of half a dozen companies, several of which did sales globally, and I’ve authored hundreds of training/inspirational newsletters read by 1000′s of small business owners in over 20 countries. In addition to being part of the School for Startups Mentor Team, current projects include working with direct sales start-ups in the US, Canada, Mexico and Italy, and consulting with a Malaysian company that will open business this year in several dozen countries, including opening 1,000 retail locations in China in the next three years.
