I launched my first company Cunning Stunts (now CUNNING) at 31. The UK’s first agency to specialise in “Disruption”, our non-traditional approach to creating newsworthy work for brands that gets amplified by media coverage, positioned Cunning between Advertising and Public Relations.

Launching MINI, projecting Gail Porter onto The House of Commons (voted stunt of last century by the BBC) for FHM and devising a solution to student debt by facilitating the sale of a new media space on their foreheads (see ForeheADS on Wikipedia), CUNNING has been at the leading edge of ground-breaking experiential activity for 14 years.

Cunning has offices in the UK, New York and a JV in the UAE. Clients include HSBC, MINI, Nissan, Ford, British Airways, C4, Chase Bank, NYC.com, Dove and D&AD.

In 2013, I launched CACHE, a bespoke life caching service for families, individuals and companies wanting to tell their life stories and experiences.

“Today’s social, cultural and business worlds demand that conceptual ability for conceiving imaginative and original ideas is supported by a full-speed-ahead, make-it-happen-now drive that permeates. Creativity is no longer about just being creative. You’ve got to be able to actually create.

The School for Creative Start-ups offers creative people the business know how and contacts that help them navigate this world and to ultimately build viable companies. I am a big fan.”
