Linda Hewson
Linda Hewson is the Head of Creative for Selfridges, recently awarded Best Department Store in the World 2012 for the second time by IGDS. She works on the initiation and development of all large scale creative projects that Selfridges has become globally recognised for.
Recent examples are the Big British Bang, Project Ocean, Words,words,words and The Film Project. She also instigates collaborations and projects with well respected and up and coming creative talent who partner with Selfridges to create something new and exclusive. Recent examples include The Museum of Everything, Emin International, The Idler, Guerrilla gardeners, Marc Quinn, Design Academy Eindhoven and It’s Nice That amongst many more. Linda studied Fine art and Photography and then established a career in the creative side of retailing through various roles in areas such as Visual Merchandising, Window design, space planning and trend research and forecasting.
