Lisa Markwell is a journalist with more than 20 years’ experience, both in national newspapers and glossy magazines. In her current role as Executive Editor of The Independent, she edits the daily features section and Saturday magazine of the paper, writes a restaurant review column and comment pieces. She’s written and edited on everything from lipstick to politics and understands the importance of a killer headline.
