Shaka Bunsie
A qualified teacher with experience teaching hard to reach inner city students in the UK; before joining the Old Vic New Voices team Shaka was a consultant with Newham Council, to advise on the process of setting up and running a number of External Exclusion centres. He is also a graduate of Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has worked professionally as an actor in America and Europe. Appearances include Rome (BBC and HBO), and EastEnders (BBC). Shaka is responsible for the administration and creative development of projects linked to Old Vic New Voices’s partnership with IdeasTap.
